Enjoy one of GlobalFest’s newest community building programs; GlobalFest Groves. Enjoy food trucks and live performances at the park behind the Kingsland Junction development from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on June 25.

What can I expect at GlobalFest Groves?

Join us as we highlight the incredible diversity of Calgary’s cultural communities. Enjoy food trucks serving lemonade, ice cream, and other snacks while experiencing live performances on our outdoor stage by performers from a variety of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Cultural pavilions featuring India, Pakistan, and more will be onsite and ready for you to explore, as well as fun games, activities, and giveaways for the whole family to enjoy.

Where can I park?

Parking onsite is extremely limited, so we encourage all those who are able to walk to the event and/or utilize public transit (approx. 10 minute walk from Heritage Station). Free parking will be available on the day of the event at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (approx. 10 minute walk to the park). Limited parking will also be available in Kingsland Junction, including accessible stalls. 

 

What if it rains?

As this is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather! Although we are expecting sunshine on the 25th, the festivities will move indoors to the Kingsland Community Association and Trico Homes in the event of rain.
