Why should I buy a KCA membership?
The Kingsland Community Association is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, and membership revenue supports the KCA’s ability to provide events, programs, and facilities for our whole community to enjoy. When you buy an Individual, Family, or Senior membership, you are entitled to a vote at the Annual General Meeting (usually the fourth Thursday of October), which ensures your voice is heard and that you have a hand in shaping the future of what our community has to offer. All of our membership classes give you access to exclusive benefits, like discounts on hall rentals and tickets for certain community events and perks from select local business partners. Membership holders are also the first to know about new programs, events, and opportunities in Kingsland.
How do I purchase my 2022-2023 membership?
First, a quick update: The Kingsland Community Association membership year has been changed to July 1 to June 30. This means your 2021-2022 membership will be extended until June 30 this year.
There are a few ways to purchase a membership:
Online. Register for and sign in to your free Kingsland Community Association account and purchase your membership via credit card. From there you can manage your own membership; sign up for events, programs, and volunteer opportunities; and create hall bookings. Via cash or cheque. Fill out our Membership Form and drop off your completed form and payment at the Kingsland Community Hall’s secure drop-box located next to the front door.
Please note that our membership cards have gone virtual. This means that no physical card will be mailed to membership holders. If you have purchased a Kingsland Community Association membership, an online account will automatically be created for you where you can view your card at any time.
