You’re invited to our AGM!
Join us at the Kingsland Community Hall on Thursday, October 27 starting at 6:30PM for a short social prior to our Annual General Meeting (starts at 7PM), where we will provide an overview of the Kingsland Community Association’s activities in 2021-2022 and our plan for the year ahead. We will also be electing the 2022-2023 board of directors and approving our annual budget.
All residents are welcome to attend the AGM, but only those with active 2022-2023 KCA memberships will be eligible to vote at the meeting. Memberships will be available for purchase at the door, but you can also purchase your membership online anytime using the button at the top of our website!
An important note for prospective directors:
At the 2021 AGM, the KCA passed new bylaws which no longer permit nominations from the floor for open positions on the Board of Directors. Instead, a slate of nominees has been prepared for all director positions (deadline for inclusion": September 22, 2022) and the KCA’s regular voting members will then confirm those nominations at the October 27 AGM. This allows us to do some more focused succession planning and targeted recruitment of new directors to ensure the Board continues to run smoothly from year-to-year.
