Charlotte Quickel

Communications Director

Charlotte has lived in Kingsland since 2017, but is originally from southwestern Ontario. She moved to Calgary after completing her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and has been in the agriculture industry ever since. Charlotte has always had a passion for livestock and now works as the Operations Manager for the Beef Cattle Research Council. 

Volunteering for a community art project helped Charlotte to get interested in a position on the KCA board. She started out as an Open Director, became President in 2021 and then moved into the role of Communications Director in 2023. There’s a good chance that you can find Charlotte out walking her dogs in the evenings or working away in her garden in the summer.
