Brandy MacInnis

Planning & Development Director

Brandy is Calgarian-born and raised, and has lived in Kingsland since 2008. As a child she watched her father as President of the Pineridge Community Association, instilling in her a community volunteer spirit. Brandy is a Land Use and Policy Planner and an Engagement Strategist by profession and works in the private sector to develop land on behalf of developers, and planning policies for municipalities and First Nations in Alberta. She has also completed a Business Analysis Certificate through Mount Royal University.

Brandy was the Vice-President and Planning Director of the KCA for nearly 10 years starting in 2008. In 2009, she led the initiative to write the Kingsland Community Plan, which has guided Kingsland's responses to The City when development is proposed in Kingsland. Brandy recently rejoined the KCA Board as Planning & Development Director and chairs the Kingsland Planning Committee.
