KCA Logo Contest

To capitalize on our new strategic framework, we thought it was about time to update our KCA logo. After collecting 35 amazing submissions, narrowing down to a Top 5, and conducting a public vote for the winner; we have a new logo!

Our old logos:

Our top 5:

Our winner:

The winning logo was submitted by Graham and Amanda Langbroek. Here are a few notes about the inspiration for the logo.

The symbol in the logo represents three aspects of the Kingsland Community:

1) Crown - a long standing symbol of the community, subtly represented by the bottom-center white space.

2) Trees - Kingsland is a community rich with old growth trees, a hallmark of our community.

3) Community- The figures within the symbol are evocative of many people with outstretched arms, joining together.

A note of thanks from Kaitlin Quickel - Logo Contest Coordinator:

“Thank you to everyone who participated in the Logo Contest by submitting a logo and voting for your favourites. It was wonderful to see the level of artistry and creativity that exists in our community and hear some of the stories that inspired people’s submissions. I hope everyone enjoys the new logo and new look for the KCA as much as I do!”
