Cerebral Palsy Association will have a donation truck in the parking lot – accepting clothing, shoes, linens, small household items and toys. Also collecting recycling bottles and cans.
Skating and the fire pit will be available, weather permitting.
Anacrusis Music School will perform inside the Kingsland Hall.
The City of Calgary is providing a 1½ hour lesson on Nordic Pole Walking. Call 403 255-1400 to sign up for a lesson or email kingslandsocial@gmail.com.
1:00 am – 12:30 pm Nordic Pole Walking Lesson (Poles will be provided)
Garbage trucks provided by the City of Calgary, will be onsite for the disposal of general household items and yard waste. One truck will be dedicated to organic waste disposal.
A Free Store: usable items your neighbours no longer need that you can put to use.
Donation Centre: clothing, curtains, and usable small household appliances for donation.
Metal Recycling
We WILL NOT be able to accept the following items:
Auto: auto parts, chemicals, tires, motor oil, car batteries
Household Hazardous waste: including helium and propane tanks, light ballasts, paints and chemicals, home appliances, home electronics
Liquid waste such as cooking oil
Medical: medical waste and expired prescription drugs
Other: glass of any type, railroad ties.
